Waal Holding Investments traces its roots back to A.A. van der Waal Holding BV, founded in 1988. After the successful sale of VSP Verzekeringen in 2016, the family chose to take a new direction, actively investing in real estate and financing. This marked the beginning of a family business built on entrepreneurship, vision, and trust.

In 2023, leadership transitioned to his grandson Bouke Caton, representing the next generation. This not only ensured the continuity of the company but also opened a new chapter where tradition and experience are combined with fresh energy and forward-looking leadership.
The company remains fully family-owned across generations. This structure reflects the deeply personal character of Waal Holding and the shared responsibility with which decisions are made.
